IFM Electronic ICE3040-FPKG magnetic sensor – IC5005
Operating principle:
A magnetic sensor is a device that detects non-contact metal objects. When powered, the magnetic sensor coil emits an electromagnetic field from the surface of the sensor. The electromagnetic field of a magnetic sensor varies according to profile and size, depending on the diameter and whether the sensor is armored or unarmored.
When the metal object gets close enough to the surface of the magnetic sensor and begins to penetrate the area with the electromagnetic field, the eddy current will increase and the amplitude of the magnetic field will be reduced to a certain extent. The variable will activate and show it has detected the target.
Ifm Electronic ICE3040-FPKG – IC5005 magnetic sensor can detect objects without contact or impact on the object. Ifm Electronic sensor ICE3040-FPKG – IC5005 operates stably, resists vibration and shock well. Model ICE3040-FPKG – IC5005 has fast response time and long life (compared to limit switch). The small sensor head can be installed in many places. Model ICE3040-FPKG – IC5005 can be used in harsh environments.
