Rotary EncoderThe C200CHS022 is a compact style I/O box manufactured by GE Fanuc for the GE Versamax product line. This module has 36 IEC style ports. It supports backplane communications, mounting and field wiring for one Input/Output module and can provide connectivity to up to 32 I/O points and four common power connections.
Other features of the IC200CHS022 include easy rotary locks that assist with installation; keys are located to match the lock at the base of the module; male-female connection facilitates quick installation backplane connection eliminating the need for additional tools/cables; a module latch hole that fastens the module securely to the carrier; and a foldable printed connector card that can be inserted into the existing card holder.
The IC200CHS022 easily snaps onto 7.5 mm x 35 mm DIN rail. To provide EMC protection, the DIN rail must be electrically grounded. The rail shall have a conductive corrosion resistant finish, preferably an unpainted finish. For applications requiring maximum resistance to mechanical vibration and shock, the carrier must also be panel mounted.
The IC200CHS022 is equipped with a card holder that rotates the terminal wiring. The wiring card provided with the I/O module can be inserted in the holder.During system operation, the card holder must be retracted.
